Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.

Still, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
